The 2004 Gagliole is also imbued with character. It possesses a more layered personality than the 2005, with tobacco, smoke, leather, earthiness, chocolate, spice and dark fruit aromas and flavors that come to life in the glass. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2018. These are the first wines I have tasted from Gagliole and I was very impressed. Gagliole is owned by Thomas B?r, whose family is most well known for its private bank, Julius B?r. Winemaking is overseen by consulting oenologist Stefano Chioccioli and oenologist Cesare Panti.
